Of Saplings and Sycamores
Half-elfin Fina has three skills: fighting, foraging, and flirting for free booze. Raised in the human realm with the power to sense magic, but not wield it, Fina spends her days foraging for magical plants with her winged-canine and her nights drowning in booze to ignore her unquenchable thirst for the elfin magic that skipped a generation.
When visited by a gruff stranger named Calex, Fina is thrust into the magic-riddled world of Rendune and told she possesses her father’s soil-based magic. To defeat an evil sorcerer hellbent on spreading darkness across the lands, Fina must access her magic and find the Amelorius flower — a plant with the ability to amplify and transfer magic. Though she’s trained by the Rendune’s dashing Regent and his short-tempered Commander, the only person who seems to know the truth is the stranger from the tavern, Calex.
In a whirlwind revelations of secrets and lies, Edefina is trailed through Rendune, fighting creatures, searching for the Amelorius, and finding friendship with a Griffin-shapeshifter and a Siren-turned-burlesque singer.
While on her quest to destroy the flowers and save two worlds that have never shown her kindness, Fina will uncover a power she didn’t know she had and a found family she didn’t know she needed.

While human in appearance, they possess traits of their ancestors.The most elusive of which are Harpies. Known for their skills of stealth and thievery, harpies are bid on in a bi-yearly event known as The Harpy Auctions.
Jette Harlan was born a free Harpy on a hidden compound known as the Aviary. Her sedge has been trained to steal and purchase as many girls from the Auctions as they can afford. But when Jette witnesses the brutality of the Auction events firsthand, she can no longer simply place a bandaid on the evil of Ganis.
She must stop the Auctions for good.
